This Ceramic electrode heater plates defined as a non-resettable protective device, functioning one time only. When the Thermal-Link senses abnormal heat and temp. reaches the predetermined fusing temp., thermal pellet melts and the sliding contact separates from the isolated lead with the assistance of the trip spring, thereby the circuit is disconnected.
